The role of the presenter
The job role of a presenter is to keep the crown the crown entertained & they have to interact with them in order for them to have an live audience, they have to also interact with the guest’s and to make them feel comfortable on the stage so the guest doesn’t look uptight.
Bow-Wow
Verbal techniques
He speaks in a very calm fashion but he also adds street slang when he is talking to make the crowd and guest feel comfortable. The sound of his voice is calm but at the same time Bow Wow knows how to use his voice to get the crowd hyped because he is a well-known rapper, he been on the rap scene from a very young age so he is known internationally. He talks very formally to make the audience and guest feel at ease. The presenter has an American accent.
Visual Techniques
The presenter is always wearing new and exclusive clothing, jewellery which shows that he is up to date with the new trends. When he’s dressed like this he looks very formal and the also the audience are dressed formally. his body language seem hyper because he is always moving thru the audience so it shows that he is relaxed and laid back with the fans. This is appropriate because the audience will feel more comfortable with their surroundings
Context
The location of the where the presenter will be is in the studio, the target audience will be:
·         Age: 16+

Big Narstie
Verbal techniques
Big Narstie speaks very formal with the audience, he knows how to change the mood of the crowd by changing his voice e.g. if he was losing the crowd he would know how to make the audience hype and live again. The sound of his voice is that it is deep but it tends to go high pitched. Big Narstie has a few catchphrases which are
·         Hello hi
·         Pain
·         Regulate
·         Up the levs
·         Base
Big Narstie does not have an accent but he’s doing online videos he can put different accents on, big Narstie was picked to do ‘Grime Report’ because he is funny and also well known by the public.
Visual Techniques
Big Narstie always wears his own brand of “#PAIN!!!” clothing T-shirts & jumpers, by big Narstie’s name you can tell he is a big guy but not only that he has a massive stage presence, big Narstie body language shows that he is calm, comfortable and laid back, it is appropriate for the audience because they can get involved with the presenter.
Context
There are various locations where you would see the presenter e.g. in a studio, outdoors, in his house or you could just see him on his daily routine walking about in his local area.
Keith lemon
Verbal techniques
Keith speaks in a very formal manner but he’s the type of presenter to appear on more adult shows instead of things like daytime television, the presenter’s voice is very high pitched. Keith lemon moves about on the stage so his body language shows that he is comfortable with his surroundings, Keith lemon does not have a catchphrase, and he has a northern accent. I feel that Keith was selected because he is a well-known comedian and he great with an audience.

  1. A lot of work needs to be done to bring this anywhere near to merit standard. Firstly you need to ensure that you proof read all work as there is lots of spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors throughout the blog. Secondly you need to upload videos.
See notes below on how to improve this blog.

    Bow Wow
    - What slang words does he use? Use clips as an example.
    - Does he talk formally?
    - What is his tone like?
    - What is his pace of delivery like?
    - Why do you think he needs to be up to date with new trends?
    - Does he really look formal? Is he wearing a dinner jacket and bow tie?
    - Discuss the types of body language he uses – refer to clips
    - Discuss the target audience more (not in bullet points), what Vals category does he appeal to? 16+? Is this show aimed at 78 years olds?
    - Why haven’t you embedded any clips?
    Big Narstie
